A long-established and highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team in Glasgow City Centre. You will support a wide and interesting variety of clients, providing both compliance and advisory services.

Reporting to management, responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients, maintaining regular communication with them
• Preparing statutory accounts for your portfolio
• Taking ownership of planning to completion of assignments and acting a key client contact
• Preparing draft tax computations
• Managing fees, WIP and workflows to meet deadlines and budgets
• Supporting managers by providing coaching and training for junior staff as and when required
• Identifying business development and process improvement opportunities

You will be ACCA/CA qualified or part qualified with significant experience working within accountancy practice and producing year-end accounts. You will be confident in the use of accounts production software (e.g. CCH) as well as cloud accounting packages (e.g. Xero, Quickbooks Online, etc.).
