We are recruiting for our client a well-known brand for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their expanding finance function the role will be responsible for overseeing and controlling the Accounts Payable function, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and deadlines are met, whilst seeking continuous improvement to controls and procedures.
Duties will include
- Manage a team of up to 10 members
- Ensure invoice processing and supplier payments are made timeously
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Monitoring company credit card expenditure and balances
- Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier questions and queries
- Recruit & develop team members
The ideal candidate should have
- You will be a self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
- Experience of end to end “Purchase to Pay” processes
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to effectively communicate inside the organisation to all relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm when faced with deadlines and multiple priorities
- Experience of change management in a growing/transforming organisation
