New opportunity for an Accounts Manager to join the business services team of a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisors in Glasgow.

The firm is known for its long-standing client relationships and commitment to training the next generation of client advisers across accounts, audit and tax. Client service is paramount, and as Manager you will be motivated to provide exceptional and trusted service to a wide range of predominately SME and OMB clients.

As well as managing annual accounts processes and related compliance, you will play an integral role in the running of the business services department including reviewing and training junior members of the team. You will act as role model and mentor to trainees, and support Partners and senior management with operational processes and planning.

You will be CA/ACCA qualified with demonstrable experience gained within UK Accountancy practice with SME/OMB clients. You will be an excellent communicator, with a passion for supporting trainees with their own professional development, as well as maintaining your own technical and commercial acumen. Experience of relevant accounting packages, including cloud-based, would be advantageous.
