We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and ambitious Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client a growing organisation based in Livingston working on a hybrid basis from home & office.

This role is all about supporting the Finance business function, and liaising with some external stakeholders and internal staff across the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Supporting the reconciliation of intercompany balances
  • Ensure all employee expenses are processed, reviewed, and paid in line with company procedures
  • Processing of customer card refunds
  • Supporting cash team with customer allocations and adjustments
  • Processing of any ad hoc invoices
  • Processing of accounting journals including prepayments, accruals, etc
  • Ad Hoc finance admin tasks
     

Our client is ideally looking for a minimum of 1 year finance experience and strong academic background so we know that you're ready or currently working towards your professional accountancy exams. However, we understand things don't always go to plan, and experience in the accounts sector can be just as important.

The key thing is we are looking for candidates that want to progress and learn you must be a highly motivated, conscientious, and ambitious individual with a hunger to succeed.
